About me
Lindsay has been performing for over 60 years. Her first job after graduating from ArtsEd in 1973 was as a dancer but she has focused on acting ever since working in touring theatre, rep and pantomime from ‘73-‘81. She returned to the industry in 2017 after an extensive break and is securing more and more work in TV, commercials, short films, radio and fringe theatre. She has recently appeared as Anne Walmsley in Series 4 of ITV’s The Bay and in 2022 she worked on the hit US TV comedy show, Documentary Now. Lindsay also directs and writes. During lockdown she gained an online following writing and performing her original comedy character, Audrey Blenkinsopp in The Audrey Diaries. She is also one half of the successful radio comedy duo Florrie and Dotty, written by Janice Fryett for Distinct Nostalgia.Additional skills:

Reviews
Completing the cast was Lindsay Eavis who starred as Constance, the eldest female in the family. The actress gently explored the isolating heartache of ageing. (Burnley Express,
27th July 2019)
Emily's (Lindsay Eavis) situation was very real and her wish to contact her husband and the humour and humanity gained from this was excellently placed. A solid and believable role. (number9reviews.blogspot.com, The Seance, 53Two, July 2018)
Lindsay found a pitch and rhythm to the delivery of her lines that was so expressive and changed perfectly to emphasise a moment, emotion or simply land a comedy moment with maximum effect. Add to this an ability to use every part of the busy stage area with movement that was totally character based combined with a selfless attitude to supporting fellow actors, (Moon over Buffalo, Nigel Machin, GMDF 2018) - Lindsay was awarded Best Actress in a Lead Role in the GMDF Awards removed for this role.
