My interest in drama started during primary school, we used to put on whole school productions and from a young age I was playing such roles as: Danny in Grease and Bugsy in Bugsy Malone. I also attended various drama clubs such as Theatre arts and Theatre train from 2001-2002.
In summer 2003 I set out on a 4 week acting course named London Talent, we attended many workshops run by professionals inside the industry, including members of the cast from the musical “Stomp”. We created a script and performed our own play at Riverside Studios to a full audience, as well as a short film using our own original storyline.
In 2006 I attended a Saturday class, “Jigsaw”, made up of three elements: drama, dance and singing, and at the end of the term we had to create a play utilizing these elements. More recently I have attended a Saturday stage school in 2007 until 2008 named “Stage coach” using the same three elements of musical theatre. I successfully acquired LAMDA exams, through my involvement at stagecoach , acting at a grade 5 solo male (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts) and passed with merit in.
In 2009 I attended Sylvia Young’s Saturday school in Marylebone , to keep my creative juices going. During the winter of 2009 I starred in the school performance of “The King and I” in which I played the lead ; this took a lot of determination and dedication to be a member of this cast, especially as we braved the elements when the school was closed during horrendous weather conditions.
February 2010 I had auditioned and successfully acquired a place on the national youth theatre acting course in august 2010 , the course mainly focused on the ensemble of acting but also gave us some time to showcase our own ability.
During May 2010 I had successfully auditioned for RADAs foundation course in acting. This was a course designed to give you a taster of what kind of training you could expect during three years at RADA , Many of our lessons were based around theorists such as Stanavlaski and Brecht and we referred back to these a lot during our time here. Many of our lessons revolved around basic acting principals such as Voice and movement and these were the main lessons. Others included: Movement, Solo Shakespeare , Animal studies , dance singing , text reading , Camera acting and clowning.
AT the end of each term (6 weeks) we performed Plays in two groups of fifteen to the other group and to all our teachers and teachers on the BA course.
Since finishing drama school I've entered the professional acting acquiring carious roles in: commercials , short films , plays and music videos.
