About me
I am a professional working actor with many years of West End, TV, Film and Theatre experience. I have worked on several corporate training films and am a confident instructor, improvisor and facilitator. I am also a professional theatre director (MA distinction in Theatre Directing). I am versatile, a great team player and am experienced and at with Improvisation, sketches as I am with Shakespeare and Dramatic roles. I am an experienced comedy performer (recently supported Jo Brand & Robin Ince at charity event) and write, direct and regularly perform in dramas and voiceovers.Additional skills:
As founder and Artistic Director of (lottery funded) Hastings Fringe Festival (6th year) and Hastings Theatre Arts Festival (Arts Council Funded), I regularly produce, direct and coordinate events. I am a fully trained teacher of dance and acting (AISTD, LGSM) - ex Laine Theatre Arts and Guildhall School of Speech and Drama - with current Enhanced DBS status (current on the update service). I am also a fully qualified Drama and English, EAL teacher (QTS - Qualified Teacher status) and work regularly with schools. I have and MA in Theatre Directing (Distinction) and a Cert Tesol qualification.
Additional information:
I was an original member of Arlene Phillip's Hot Gossip on The Kenny Everett show and toured extensively. I have several leading West End Theatre credits and I recently played Shirley Valentine at the Hollywood Festival and New York Solo Festival.
