About me
After holding a senior marketing role at Peugeot Automobiles David went on to form his own Marketing and Public Relations agency based in Birmingham which still runs to this day after twenty four years.During this period David has handled the gambit of communication activities including event management, media, promotions and public relations even public affairs for a host of companies, organisations, political parties and even the odd celeb such as such as Barry McGuigan.
Typical of this role frustratingly it was his job to get his clients in front of the camera and not himself.
As life would have it, a serious medical crisis was successfully averted in 2016 made him re-examine his work life balance and has now stepped back from the agency and taken early retirement.
However now he finds himself with clear diary and a strong desire to do the things in life that he wants to do and not those he has to so, that means an overdue return to the acting world.
As with most actors it all started at school in a series of school plays. A career in the acting and the entertainment business was his initial goal. At 19 he successfully auditioned and was offered a 16 week general entertainment contract with Pontin’s as a legendary “bluecoat” at Bournemouth (which was his proposed route to an Equity card crucial at the time.) Needless to say was distraught when he was unable to take it up due to family commitments.
Instead ultimately he was able to use his natural charisma and presentation skills previously honed in acting to develop a very successful and lucrative career in Marketing and Media relations.
Over the years he was able to gain his acting and performing “fix” with regular media and gameshow appearances
